Long lines at the airport? Well, they may just get longer. U.S. officials have warned airlines that terrorists are considering surgically implanting explosives into people to get around screening procedures. 

While there is no sign of an immediate threat of terrorism in the United States, this new information could lead to additional screening procedures in airports across the country. 

 

This week, a federal judge rejected a lawsuit, which challenged the governments' right to assassinate Anwar Al-Awlaki, a U.S. citizen and Al Qaeda member who was linked to the underwear bomber last Christmas, the Fort Hood shooting, the recent foiled cargo-plane bomb attempt, and is the "beloved sheikh" of Antonio Martinez, who attempted to blow up a military recruiting center yesterday in Baltimore. 

After the judge’s verdict, Jameel Jaffer, Deputy Legal Director of the American Civil Liberties Union stated: "We continue to believe that the government's power to use lethal force against American citizens should be subject to meaningful oversight by the courts."

I definitely hear his point, and in general, I would agree. But this is a terrorist who coordinated numerous attacks against America! If I have to choose sides on this one, I choose America.

Today, on the 69th anniversary of the attack on Pearl Harbor, the words of President Franklin D. Roosevelt, through referring to quite a different threat at the time, unfortunately still ring true: “Hostilities exist…our people, our territory and our interests are in grave danger.”

The memories of the surprise attack on American soil on December 7, 1941, spur memories of the surprise attack on American soil on September 11, 2001.

We must never again let our enemies catch us by surprise. We must hope and pray that another statement by President Roosevelt 69 years ago today, comes to fruition: “The American people, in their righteous might, will win through to absolute victory”.

What compelled France to pass the Burqa ban? Is it security measures so nothing dangerous lurks beneath those bulky full-body coverings? Is it a message that the French are finally putting their foot down against foreigners and don't want their country to become France-stan?

Either way, take a look at bin Ladin's tit for tat logic:  "If you deemed it your right to ban (Muslim) women from wearing the hijab, then should not it be our right to expel your invading men by striking their necks?" bin Laden said.

These radical Muslims sure are frighteningly violence prone. I hope France keeps a serious face and straight posture-- and does NOT show fear in the face of these terror monsters.

It was reported yesterday that 9 foreigners and a local were arrested for plotting to blow up 2 places of worship in Malaysia. Motive was purportedly because Malaysia was losing its identity as an Islamic country! So bombing a place of worship is going to make the Muslim more pious?

What is more alarming is that the terrorists are not even tried but merely ejected to their countries of origin! Having passports cancelled is no biggie as they can easily obtain new ones or fake ones. The local terrorist only has his movements restricted instead of detained. Whereas political prisoners of conscience are detained here for years, some even decades!

Please highlight this gross miscarriage of justice under Global Threat. Malaysia's leniency towards these terrorists is only going to encourage more terrorists to treat it as they have done Bali.

Channel 2 investigative video reveals the threat that terrorists are sneaking into the United States past the Mexican border. A Congressional report confirms the fact that members of Hezbollah have crossed the 2,000 mile long border. The report also documents the route that the terrorists take to get into the United States: They start in the Middle East travel to Europe then from Europe to South America to the border regions. There they learn Spanish and try to blend in with other illegal immigrants including Mexican drug lords who help get them into the U.S. Yet another important piece of news that is ignored by main stream media!

Capt. Scott Smileys skied Vail, climbed Mount Rainier, got an MBA and won an Espy award. He also served in Iraq and was injured in a roadside bomb attack.  He has risen to the challenge of losing his sight to become the only blind member of the US Armed Forces. Not only that he's a happy hero with a family. I had the chance to meet him about a year ago and was totally impressed by his poise, conviction and belief in our nation. I had a chance to sit with him and listen (I watched) The Third Jihad with him. He shared with me his views on radical Islam and terror. I remember that he was sitting with his wife and I couldn't help thinking to myself what a role model for our nation. Here is a guy at the prime of his life that had everything going and he lost a major part of his life, his vision. He isn't bitter and isn't willing to give up. Did you know that the Department of Defense is the world's single largest consumer of energy in the world?  According to DESC (Defense Energy Support Center, the guys who buy all of DOD's energy) in 2008 they spent over $17.8 billion to run our military.  The vast majority of that oil (~80%) comes from people who give their tithes to terrorists (typically 2.5%). So just to understand: $17.8 Billion is what our military spends on energy, or $14.4 billion the Middle East. Of that $356,000,000  is going to help the guys who are laying IED's, killing our soldiers in Iraq and Afghanistan and who are hijacking ships off of Africa. Maybe the Department of Defense should consider Alternative energy? What do you think?
