About Clarion Fund

CLARION PROJECT, Inc. is an independently-funded, non-profit organization 501(c)(3) that produces and distributes documentaries on the threats of Radical Islam.

In 2006, Clarion released the award-winning documentary Obsession: Radical Islam’s War Against the West.  In 2008, Clarion released the well-received documentary, The Third Jihad: Radical Islam’s Vision for America.  Clarion's newest film, Iranium, premiered February 8, 2011.

Clarion Project was founded by Raphael Shore in 2006.  

Clarion Advisory Board:

Frank J. Gaffney, Jr.
Founder and President, Center for Security Policy 

Gaffney previously acted as Deputy Secretary of Defense for International Security Policy at the Department of Defense under President Reagan.

Dr. M. Zuhdi Jasser
Founder and President, American Islamic Forum for Democracy (AIFD).

Jasser is a devout practicing Muslim practicing internal medicine and nuclear cardiology in Phoenix. He is the immediate-Past President of the Arizona Medical Association.

Clare M. Lopez
Senior Fellow, Center for Security Policy

Lopez is a strategic policy and intelligence expert with a focus on Middle East, homeland security, and counterterrorism issues. She formerly served as an officer in the Central Intelligence Agency.

Dr. Walid Phares
Author, The Coming Revolution 

Phares is the author of The Coming Revolution: Struggle for Freedom in the Middle East. He is an advisor to the U.S. Congress on the Middle East, and teaches Global Strategies at National Defense University. Phares has extensively published on Iranian strategic thinking since the 1980s.

Dr. Daniel Pipes

Director, Middle East Forum; Founder, Campus Watch

A Taube distinguished visiting fellow at the Hoover Institute of Stanford University, Pipes has served in various capacities in the U.S. government. His website, DanielPipes.org , is among the most accessed sources of specialized information on the Middle East and Islam.

Dr. Harold Rhode
Former Foreign Affairs Specialist, Pentagon; Senior Advisor, Hudson Institute

Dr. Rhode is a former Foreign Affairs Specialist in the Office of Net Assessment, Office of the Secretary of Defense.  He currently serves as a Senior Advisor at the Hudson New York Institute.

Ilan Sharon
Executive Director, Minnesotans Against Terrorism

A son of Jewish refugees from Libya and Egypt, Sharon lectures frequently on the issue of terrorism, the threat of Radical Islam, and the struggle for Peace in the Middle East. He aided in the production and distribution of Obsession, The Third Jihad, and Iranium.

Sarah Stern
Founder and President, Endowment for Middle East Truth

Stern has served as National Policy Coordinator of the ZOA, and the Director of Governmental and Legislative Affairs for the American Jewish Congress.  She is the founder and president of EMET, a think-tank that educates policymakers about the common threats to democracies at the hands of radical extremists.

Gen. Paul E. Vallely

Founder and President, Stand Up America

Vallely, a retired US Army Major General, is a senior military analyst for Fox News. He currently serves as the Military Committee Chairman for the Center for Security Policy.
