The Center for Security Policy is offering a 10-part free video course called “The Muslim Brotherhood in America: The Enemy Within.” The course begins today, April 24, 2012, and be accessed via the web on www.MuslimBrotherhoodinAmerica.com.
Frank Gaffney, Jr. president of the center, writes, “ America faces in addition to the threat of violent jihad another, even more toxic danger – a stealthy and pre-violent form of warfare aimed at destroying our constitutional form of democratic government and free society. The Muslim Brotherhood is the prime-mover behind this seditious campaign, which it calls “civilization jihad.”
The Muslim Brotherhood and other Islamist parties recently won a parliamentary majority in the newly elected Egyptian Parliament. Since the Brotherhood became the dominant force in Egyptian politics, American democratic activists were held hostage, Coptic Christians have been brutally persecuted and slaughtered, the Sinai peninsula has become a hotbed of terrorist infiltration into Israel and threats have been issued to cancel Egypt’s peace treaty with Egypt. Most recently, Egypt cancelled its contract to provide natural gas to Israel in violation of the treaty. A Brotherhood presidential candidate has promised to make Egypt a sharia-compliant country if elected.
Acting from orders from President Barak Obama, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton recently waived Congressional imposed restriction and transferred $1.5 billion in U.S. aid to Egypt. Most recently, the Brotherhood delegation was invited into the White house.
Unfortunately, as the Center’s course makes clear, this episode is just the latest of many that flow from the subversion by Muslim Brotherhood operatives that has been happening within our civil society and governing institutions in every administration since Bill Clinton was in office. (During his presidency, a top Muslim Brother, Abdurahman Alamoudi, was actually put in charge of recruiting, training and credentialing Muslim chaplains for the U.S. military and prison system. Incredibly, some of them are believed to still be in place today, even though Alamoudi turned out to have been a top al Qaeda financier and is himself doing hard time at Supermax on terrorism charges.)
The course documents the infiltration, penetration and subversion of American interest perpetrated by the Brotherhood in America.
